Instant Pot Asparagus Step-by-Step Cooking Guide
Prepare Ingredients for Instant Pot Asparagus:
Rinse the asparagus under cold tap water. Trim off the bottom (seemingly woody part) – an inch or two inches.
Pressure Cook Asparagus
Pour in 1 cup (250ml) cold water. Place steamer rack in Instant Pot.
Place 1 lb (454g) asparagus on the steamer rack.
Lock the lid.
Instant Pot Asparagus Pressure Cook Time: pressure cook at High Pressure for 1 minute, then Quick Release. Turn off the heat.
Open the lid carefully.
Season & Serve Pressure Cooker Asparagus
Season with salt and black pepper.
