Ingredients for Mom’s Grilled Cheese Sandwich
- 2 slices thick cut white bread (Texas toast)
- ½ tablespoon (7g) unsalted butter
- 2 slices yellow cheddar cheese
- Salt to taste
Step 1
Melt ½ tablespoon unsalted butter in a skillet over medium-low heat.
Sprinkle salt over the butter to season.
Place 2 slices of white bread on the skillet for a few minutes until golden brown.
Step 2
Flip to the other side.
Add 2 slices of cheddar cheese on the golden brown side of the bread.
Stack the other slice of bread (golden brown side down) on top of the cheese slices.
Step 3
